how does eco diseno select products?
we at eco diseno are dedicated to bringing unique products which are clever and innovative into your life. We enjoy finding fresh and exciting products for people to fall in love with. We endeavour to source most of our products from Australian businesses however we make the exception for fabulous products such as the Hook & Go shopping trolley. We care about the people who make the products we offer. We prefer to source products from ethical and environmentally aware companies preferably with certification. If a company is unable to supply certification such as fair trade then they have personally inspected the factories and vouch for the ethical treatment of the workers. It is important to us that the products we offer are either reusable, recyclable, biodegradable or fair trade.

how does eco diseno calculate postage charges?
In keeping with our business ethics to be honest and transparent in all that we do, postage is calculated on an individual basis rather than a set fee which may not be representative of the actual cost. Our postage is through Australia Post - regular mail and is automatically calculated during the checkout process based on the product/s you have ordered and your postcode.

Once you have selected your chosen product/s you wish to purchase from our product range and entered your mailing address the postage will calculate automatically . The checkout process will confirm the products you have selected and notify you of the postage charge. At this stage if you wish to change your order you simply use the delete (-) or add (+) key to remove or add products. Alternatively, if you no longer wish to proceed with the order you simply return to the home page or exit the website as no payment details have been taken and the order will automatically cancel.

We have received really positive feedback about the automated process and on the odd occasion (it has only happened once) if the program over charges on postage, we become aware of this at the time of dispatch and issue an immediate refund of the amount overcharged.

If you should wish for your purchase to be sent via a different mailing method for example Australia Post Registered Mail, then please complete an offline order form and we will calculate the postage charge and issue an order form which will show the products purchased and the postage fee. Once you give your approval to proceed with your order and payment has been received we will then dispatch your goods.

how do I place an overseas order?
unfortunately we are unable to offer automated overseas orders at this time. It is certainly something we are working towards and hope to offer in the near future. However, if you live in New Zealand and would like to order a Hook & Go shopping trolley then please complete the easy and quick to use off-line order form available on our website www.ecodiseno.com.au Please note that eco diseno is the exclusive distributor for the Hook & Go in New Zealand. For all other overseas orders of the Hook & Go please refer to the website for the relevant link. how can I extend the life of my Hook & Go shopping trolley?
eco diseno is committed to extending the life of the Hook & Go. When used according to the manufactures instructions and treated with care you will get many shopping trips from your Hook & Go. However, obviously in time parts will begin to show signs of wear and tear. Experience has shown us that the part of the trolley which will eventually wear is the wheels. Therefore to extend the life of your product we supply an extra set of washers and nuts with your trolley. Please ensure you keep these for future use. To further extend the life of the trolley we also offer a replacement set of wheels.

why is the shipper box necessary when ordering a Hook & Go?
when you purchase a Hook & Go shopping trolley although it comes in its own box it will be shipped to you in a shipper box. This second box is necessary to help prevent any damage happening in transit. Although we would much rather not need this box it is preferable and much kinder to the environment to use a second box than replace a trolley due to damage. The shipper box is made from 100% recycled cardboard and can be recycled. It is our hope that you extend the life of this product by reusing it.

it is intrinsically important to eco diseno that we give back to the community.
eco diseno spent a lot of time researching and choosing an organisation to support. We chose Earthwatch because it is a global organisation and we believe in the interconnectedness of our world and our precious environment. Eco diseno believe in the values and work of Earthwatch. Earthwatch is actively involved in capacity building in Africa, South East Asia and Eastern Europe. It provides opportunities for young scientists and conservationists to become future conservation leaders in their own country and for institutions to be more effective stewards of their country’s rich and irreplaceable biodiversity. Earthwatch values education and engages young people, through innovative and effective strategies, in conserving our environment. They also provide unique opportunities for teachers and tertiary students to volunteer for environmental research. Earthwatch engages the corporate sector and builds dynamic, responsive partnerships with a range of companies to increase environmental awareness. how can I reuse my onestringbags?
onestringbags are very durable and will give you years of use if you treat them well – remember no sharp objects – ouch! You can still use your onestringbags even if they have small holes they can still be used. When your onestringbags have come to the end of their life as produce bags, give them a new life protecting your veggies or fruit trees from birds and possums.
